The Chicago Journal of International Law (CJIL) is currently accepting submissions for Vol. 26 No. 2, to be published in early 2026. CJIL publishes interdisciplinary scholarship making a significant, original contribution to the field of international and comparative law.
Submissions to our Scholastica posting should be between 15,000 and 22,000 words, excluding footnotes. Please include the word count of the manuscript, a cover letter, and the author's CV with each submission.
Unfortunately, limited resources prevent the journal from accepting draft articles requiring extensive stylistic and/or substantive changes. We therefore request that articles be both well written and completely argued at the time of submission. We plan to review submissions on a rolling basis during the summer months.
Please direct questions to the Executive Articles Editor, Sara Evans, at sevans9@uchicago.edu. We look forward to reviewing your submissions!
